Our program consists of several aspects designed to improve player performance.
Each athlete is evaluated on several measurables including throwing velocity, bat exit velocity, running times, and explosion to name a few. In addition to the measurables, athletes will be evaluated on the fundamentals of throwing and hitting. After the initial evaluation, players will have a specific improvement plan designed based on their goals and assessment.
Each player will be coached in proper dynamic warm up techniques prior to each session.
The training sessions can include the following aspects:
1. Hitting - Stance, set up, approach, hitting zone, pitch selection, situational hitting
2. Pitching - Focus, arm slot, pitch development, situational pitching
3. Fielding (Infield and outfield play) - Approach, reads, footwork, receiving, bag coverage, situational defense
4. Catching - Set up, receiving, throwing, handling a pitching staff, situational defense
5. Strength and Conditioning - Explosion, flexibility, sport-specific
6. Speed Improvement and Agility -
foot quickness, body awareness, straight-lined, and multi-directional agility
7. Mental Approach - How to approach the game and situations, dealing with failure and success
8. Mental Toughness -
Dealing with adversity, how to push yourself to excellence, how to work through difficult situations
9. Academic Support - Tutoring services, test taking strategies
10. Recruitment and College Assistance - Plan development and assistance with connecting with colleges and coaches
